Betsy has dedicated over two decades to the real estate industry, with a focus on closing transactions. Prior to joining Chicago Title Houston as a Closing Attorney and Escrow Officer, Betsy was a transactional real estate attorney managing the acquisition and disposition of commercial real estate nationwide as well as handling residential real estate transactions in Texas.
Betsy’s previous experience preparing and negotiating sales contracts and closing documents, as well as reviewing, analyzing, and curing title and survey issues, enables her to make the closing experience seamless for buyers and sellers. She is well-versed in handling title and closing issues and works collaboratively with agents and attorneys to address these matters promptly. Betsy's attention to detail, real estate expertise, and proactive approach lead to smooth closings and positive experiences for all parties involved.
Betsy is proud to join Chicago Title, drawn by the company’s outstanding reputation as a preeminent title company. She earned her Bachelor of Science, with distinction, from the University of Michigan, and her Juris Doctor from the American University Washington College of Law. Betsy is also a member of the State Bar of Texas.
In her free time, Betsy enjoys spending time with her husband, her twins, extended family, and friends. Betsy also enjoys traveling and cooking.
